REASNOR FIBER TO THE HOME PROJECT HAS STARTED!
In partnership with the FCC and the Enhanced Alternative Connect America Cost Model, Reasnor Telephone company has started the process of building out Fiber to the Home (FTTH) for the Reasnor Rate Center. FTTH will provide superior home and business internet options with speeds and packages that will range up to 1000/1000 (see Internet Services). Reasnor has built out for dual connection points to the Iowa Fiber Ring in an attempt to have redundant services available for the best opportunity to limit outages and will break ground to bring FTTH for the residents of the Reasnor Rate Center in April of 2022. The project is expected to complete by December 2026, weather and material availability permitting. Further updates will be posted, including the build out map with expected dates of service availability as the project moves forward. **As of December 2023 Reasnor is about 70% complete.
